5. bad egg - A person who cannot be trusted is a bad egg. Good egg is the opposite.

6. bag of bones - If someone is a bag of bones, they are very underweight.

7. bag of nerves - If someone is a bag of nerves, they are very worried or nervous.

Color

1. Feeling Blue - feeling unwell
Example : I am feeling blue from last night I think I am having fever.

2. looking off color -looking ill
Example : If someone looks off color means they look ill.

3. in the black - If your bank account is in credit, it is in the black.

4. in the pink - If you are in very good health, you are in the pink.

5. in the red - If your bank account is overdrawn, it is in the red.

6. once in the blue moon - something happens very rarely.

7. pink sleep - If someone receives a pink slip, they receive a letter telling them they have lost their job.

8. red letter day - A red letter day is a one of good luck, when something special happens to you.

9. black sheep - Someone who is the black sheep doesn't fit into a group or family because their behaviour or character is not good enough.


Sixth Day

1. let the cat out of the bag - to share a secret that wasn't suppose to be shared

2. let bygones be bygones - to forget about disagreement

3. lend me your ear - to politely ask someone for full attention

Fifth Day

1 At the eleventh hour - at the last minute; almost too late
Example : Yes, I got the work done in time. I finished it at the eleventh hour, but I wasn't late.

2 bushed - very tired; exhausted

3 beat one's brains out - try very hard to understand or do something.
Example : Can you help me with this problem? I've been beating my brains out with it,
but I just can't solve it.

4. burn the midnight oil - study/work all night or until very, very late at night.
Example : I'm not ready for the test tomorrow. I guess I'll have to

5. broke  - without money
Example : I cant give you treat as I m broke.

6.couch potato - someone who spends too much time watching TV.

7. Cut it out!: stop doing something (that's annoying).

8. drop someone a line: write to someone.(drop me a message)
Example : I haven't written to my parents for a long time. I'd better drop them a line
today or tomorrow.

9. grab a bite: get something to eat.

10. Get real!: Be realistic! / Don't be naive.

1 Taken aback - Surprised or startled by a sudden turn of events.

2 Your name is mud - You are unpopular.

3 You can't get blood out of a stone-You cannot extract what isn't there to begin with.

4 You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink-People, like horses, will only do what they have a mind to do.

5 Get on my wick - Annoy me; get on my nerves , you're getting on my wick.

6The darkest hour is just before the dawn -There is hope, even in the worst of circumstances,the darkest hour of all. is the hour before day.

Third Day

Example :Excuse my French, I’m just in a bad mood.

Example : He got a serious illness so there's always an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.
